I’m sick. Started out with a fever and a bad throat on Wed. Now, my nose is running like a tap and I’m still nursing a temperature. My prescription? Lots of TV, of course. In between clearing emails and vetting submissions, I took 1 flu tablet, 1 panadol extra and espisodes of Dharma and Greg and Mad About You every 6 hours. You know, you don’t get good TV on happily married people anymore. I guess even producers are finding it hard to convince themselves that “happily ever after” can exist. The prescription for a happy marriage? It appears to be a relationship built on committment, humour and an amazing friendship. Who says you can’t learn anything from TV?
