This is the first time I’ve come across a series soooooooo good that I finished the entire first season in 1 day. Weeds is pure addiction and once you start, you just keep going back for more. Weeds is now into its 5th season in the US and is about a housewife from an affluent California suburb who turns into a marijuana dealer when her husband drops dead from a heart attack and she has to find a way maintain the suburbian lifestyle for her family. It’s from the good people who gave us Dexter and this time, they have me rooting for a drug dealing housewife who sells marijuana-laced brownies and cornbread to people in her neighbourhood. Think Desperate Housewives except it’s a lot messier, completely insane and totally hiliarous. And don’t get me started on the theme song – I’ve been singing it non-stop and driving The Hubs completely crazy. Can’t wait to start on Season 2.
Little boxes on the hillside,
Little boxes made of ticky tacky
Little boxes on the hillside,
Little boxes all the same,
Theres a pink one & a green one
And a blue one & a yellow one
And they are all made out of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same.
And the people in the houses
All went to the university
Where they were put in boxes
And they came out all the same
And theres doctors & lawyers
And business executives
And they are all made out of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same.
