. friendly village kids .
When we were in Bali, we often spent our mornings taking long walks through the villages. The villagers, especially the children were a friendly lot and always had a ready smile for us. They would gamely pose for photos, and when we showed them the pictures on the camera, they would laugh and ask that we take another. Even the shy ones soon joined in the fun. These children did not have fancy toys or nintendo games. They spent their days running freely with their kites in the padi fields, playing with the sun kissing their skin, catching grasshoppers with their bare hands, giggling with glee. Their existence happy, simple and carefree.
