Harbour crossing

While I find it a lot more convenient to get from Kowloon to Hong Kong using the MTR, I always try to squeeze in a ferry ride when possible.  Just for the fun of it.  The Star Ferry has been an iconic part of Hong Kong for more than a hundred years.  And there’s a good reason why she’s still loved even after all this time.  There’s something very charming about crossing the habour in these distinctive green and white vessels with their old school polished wooden seats and taking in the Hong Kong skyline.  Takes you right back to the 1960s world of Suzie Wong.
