Does this look like Singapore to you? Which is precisely what makes Rider’s Cafe a wonderful place to spend the morning. Tucked away in a secluded spot in Bukit Timah, it has this relaxing, laid back vibe that makes it a great place to chill out and have breakfast. In fact, it’s a little hard to believe that you’re actually just a ten-minute drive from town.
Set in one of those old black white colonial buildings, the ambience is so charming that it’s really hard not to fall in love with the place. The breakfast fare is pretty standard and we had the eggs benedict and blueberry pancakes. The food is average, nothing mind blowing and prices are decent. But I guess the draw of Rider’s is really in the location itself, and I would go back just for that. Because where else in Singapore can you take a walk and pat horses after a hearty breakfast?
