Iron chef

The challenge today was The Perfect Steak. The Hubs picked a striploin and marinated it with sea salt and black pepper. I chose the ribeye and the marinate was also simple – light soy sauce and black pepper. Both went into the fridge for 4 hours. Then over medium heat, we seared the beef for between 4-5 minutes. For 2 first timers, I thought we did pretty well. The steaks came out nicely browned, and the meat was tender and juicy. Mmmmm … absolutely delicious.

So who won? Of course, it came to a draw! What else did you expect? Heh.
