Wanderlust

While doing some housekeeping of the photos saved on our laptop, I realise I’m feeling restless again and itching to go somewhere, anywhere. Soon.  Someone once commented that I’d have a lot more savings if I simply travelled less.  True I guess but I’m not sure if that would make me a richer person.  The Hubs and I try to travel as much and as often as we can.  There’s nothing like exploring a new place – you’re forced to leave the comforts of your home, learn to trust your instincts and venture gently into the unknown.  The wonder and spontaneous high you get from all this is something I wouldn’t trade for the world.  As Mark Twain once said "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
